Meetings – the pivot points of organisational change

Today I met with a couple of clients who are looking to use key business meetings as pivot points for organisational change. It was great to meet these kindred spirits. I have been having more and more of these kinds of conversations with clients. It seems there is a growing realisation in the Organisational Design and Change Management world that meetings are the key to getting traction for change in the workplace.

I think there is a weariness of large scale organisational change projects, often lead by external consultants, that produce reports and PowerPoint decks, without any sustainable impact in the workplace.

We believe that even one meeting can lead to organisational transformation, if it is designed with the individual, the group and the organisation in mind.
