I am currently in San Francisco, facilitating a Global Summit for a client. I have been here since Sunday evening and I am completely exhausted. I have only had about 8 hours sleep since Saturday night.This has been partially due to jetlag, but mainly because we are working with some LIVING graphic storymaps.
By LIVING, I mean these storymaps are being used to engage different parts of the division in conversations about their future. As each team is engaged, the storymap gets updated to reflect the developments in the thinking.
The POWER of doing this is people are really engaged in the conversations, through the use of this graphic, and they can SEE their contributions in the developing imagery.
Using this tool has enabled us to land complex messages that the leadership have been trying to nail for months. My learning is to think about how to survive the intense nature of this work.
